Editor Sara Eileen Hames, and several of the other people behind twenty-four magazine, are speaking at Ruckus NYC next week about their creative careers. But today, we’re making issue three of twenty-four magazine. Watch our trailer, and follow along online as we make the next issue.
Then come to Ruckus NYC and ask us how it went…

A film of Kevin Clark’s piece “Cucumbers and Gin,” performed by Sean-David Cunningham. Making the film version was Kevin’s first Kickstarter project, and lots of the the same people are involved in Ruckus NYC. See more on Kevin’s site, including cocktail recipes and a score that plays along with the film.
Sylvana Joyce and The Moment rocked the first RUCKUS, and we’re thrilled to have them back.
KINGS release a proper music video for their soon-to-be hit, October. Come hear them in late September at RUCKUS NYC - they might even spin slowly around for you like the camera in this video
At the RUCKUS in January, we filmed the whole show for the web. We didn’t rent film gear, light the stage for film, or even leave room at the front of the hall for the camera people.
What we actually did was kind of rude, but it was fast and lightweight, and it worked. We handed a bunch of Flip cameras to a few overqualified filmmakers (Michael Feldman, Alan Jeffries, and Matt Dunnam), and said ‘go to it’.
What we got are some great, raw videos to match with our good recording and turn into a youtube playlist. We’ll be posting those videos for you here.
Putting everything on youtube helps people who couldn’t make it get a feel for what they missed, and helps the show have more of a life than just the one night.
